My Interests
Welcome to this yapping session...
This is a bit limited, but anyway, here we go!
Games
Resident Evil 2 Remake
Resident Evil 2 Remake got me into replaying games and doing some casual achievement hunting, which you might think is kind of an "okay" thing, but I actually hated replaying games before that. Not only that, this was the first game I ever played on a higher difficulty too. This game is simply sooo much fun.
Also, it has the Leon S. Kennedy in it.
Silent Hill 2 Remake
Omg, Silent Hill 2 Remake got me messed up. Not because of the horror, but because of the damn atmosphere! Daunting and oppressive. I think this is the first time I ever expereinced something like that in a game.
Not to mention how gorgeous this game is. The enviromental design is on a whole other level here!
Stardew Valley
Stardew Valley is a very comforting game to play. It's very charming, and I honestly don't know how Eric Barone did it, but Stardew Valley is so damn polished, like wow. Very inspirational.
Baldur's Gate 3
It has Astarion in it, that's my case...
Anyway, I absolutely adore the gameplay in Baldurs Gate 3. The game is also stunning and so much fun. I really want to come back to it one day and play it on a harder mode.
Graveyard Keeper
Graveyard Keeper is the game I'm playing right now! So much grinding, and there's so much content and so many things to do, like damn. But that's honestly my favourite thing in games.
Manga
Chainsaw Man
Tatsuki Fujimoto is my favourite author, and he inspired me a lot with my own projects. Chainsaw Man was my introduction to him, and it holds a big signicance to me.
A truly incredible manga.
Steel Ball Run
Steel Ball Run, in my opinion, is the best Jojo part. Hirohiko Araki did an amazing job from the beginning to the end. A marvel of a work, there's no denying that.
Witch Hat Atelier
The attention to detail, the beauty of the art – so delicate and inspiring! The depiction of magic in this work is so intricate, and thoughtful. Honestly, what a great manga.
Goodnight Punpun
This manga is genuinely so messed up. It's the kind of work that just doesn't leave you, like a small dark pit at the bottom of your heart.
Anime
Chainsaw Man
Well, it's only natural that the Chainsaw Man anime is on this list. In my opinion, both season 1 and the movie adaptation are great, but the movie does hit on a whole other level.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
This basically includes all Jojo parts. They're all great and unique in their own ways. So much creativity!
The Apothecary Diaries
Damn, never thought I'd like this type of anime this much, but here we are. Really good stuff.
Angel Beats
This one got me in my feels when I watched it back in 2018(?). I need to rewatch it at some point.
Characters
Leon S. Kennedy
Leon is a badass, so yeah.
Johnny Joestar
I adore the way Johnny is written. He feels real, and the fact that he's a very flawed protagonist is just so cool to me.
Jolyne Kujo
Jolyne is slept on. An amazing character with a great development! We need more hype for Jolyne!
Shuichi Saihara
The games kind of suck, but I like a bunch of characters from them. Shuichi is probably my favourite. He's relatable, and I really like how he gradually becomes more confident.
Music
Jane Remover
Jane Remover's music just hits different. I don't generally stick to one artist, and I get bored pretty easily, but damn, I listen to Jane daily at this point.
Other
Other than that, I listen to anything and everything. Sometimes I literally just put the Silent Hill OST on and vibe with it.
Also right now, I'm listening to kmoe's K1 album. Pretty cool stuff.
I have 1k+ songs in my playlist, so I can't list everything, but here are a few that I still like years later:
Devonté Hynes - You're Not Good Enough
Devonté Hynes - Champagne Coast
My favourite Anime opening:
From Angel Beats Anime - My Soul, Your Beats!
That's it for the yapping session :D
